Flat and spring washer is generally used to distribute the load of
a threaded fastener, such as a bolt, scres or nut. Other uses are
as a spacer, spring (wave washer), wear pad, preload indicating
device, locking device, and to reduce vibration , rubber washer.
Washers usually have an outer diameter (OD) about twice larger than
their inner diameter (ID).
Washers are usually metal and plastic and rubber. High-quality
bolted joint require hardened steel washers to prevent the loss of
pre-load due to Brinelling after the torque is applied.
Spring washers have axial flexibility and they are used to prevent
fastening loosening due to vibrations.
For 100HV level, optional ST12, ST13 and Q235, Q215, Q195 and so
on, the surface hardness can reach 110HV;
For 140HV level, optional 08F, 08Al and 10,10F etc., the surface
hardness can reach 140HV;
For 200HV and 300HV level, the material should be used 45,50,60,70
steel or 65Mn steel, up to 200 ~ 300HV and 300 ~ 400HV technical
requirements through heat treatment and quenching and tempering.
